BAHA(Barnes Area Historical Association) was organized in 2005 following the town’s Centennial Celebration. Its members are area citizens dedicated to preserving the history of the Barnes area.
The museum exhibits include: The Lakes Room, The Pioneer’s Room, The Builder’s Room, The Children’s Room, The Northwood’s Room and The Gift Shop Room.
Specialized Exhibits include: the Lakes & Resorts Area Display, Heritage Family Project Area, Silver Beach Elk Display, Logging Displays, MacQuarrie Displays, Olden Tools Displays, and many memorabilia items from years past.
Annual Activities include: Winterfest, 4th July Celebration, Pie Social, Flea Markets and Bar-B-Q Ribfest Competition.
